The Sisters of St. Joseph began in 1650 in Le Puy-en-Velay, France, with six women dedicated to serving their community. Now, 375 years later, the Sisters of St. Joseph and their partners serve worldwide on six continents, continuing to live out the CSSJ charism of profound love of God and neighbor without distinction so that all may be one.

We invite you to join us for our 375th Anniversary Celebration in Kansas City, Missouri, in July 2025 to celebrate our history, embrace our present and ignite our future. Hear keynote speakers and panelists, engage in meaningful conversation, deepen relationships and build new ones and much more!

Join members of our “charism family” — sisters, associates, agrégées, St. Joseph Workers, partners in mission, staff — for this opportunity to experience community, reflect on our journey, celebrate our achievements and look forward to the future with hope and renewed commitment as members of the Joseph family. Meeting Information

Onsite registration will open at 1 pm on Friday, July 18, with the event beginning at 6 pm CST. The event will conclude after the evening banquet on Sunday, July 20.  The 375th Anniversary Celebration is open to all who share the Charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph: sisters, associates, agrégées, St. Joseph Workers, and partners in mission.

Registration Costs

Registration opens February 2025. Early-Bird registration fees will end Friday, April 25. Fees are based on whether you register early AND if you are a dues-paying member of the U.S. Federation of the Sisters of St. Joseph. Dues paying members include all U.S. CSSJ sisters and their congregational staff members, as well as those lay partners who have paid to be a member. For those who are already dues paying members, you will receive a code in February via email to register for the member rate.

 

In-Person Registration Costs

Early Bird Registration will close April 25.  Registrations completed after April 25 will be $625 for Members and $725 for Federation Non-Members.

Hotel

Hotel reservations for the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center will be made through this registration form. The cost per a room is $169.00/night, plus applicable tax ($185.23 per night). Rooms may be shared but each person must register separately for the event. The maximum occupancy per room is four people. For all of those coming in early for pre-meetings, the discounted rate is available from Tuesday, July 15, until Wednesday, July 23, 2025, pending hotel availability (we recommend registering early to ensure room availability).

Your hotel room will be reserved through this registration site.  You will need to provide a credit card during registration. Your reservation request will be sent to the hotel and you will receive a hotel confirmation approximately three weeks prior to the start of the program.  If there are any issues with your reservation request, you will be contacted.

Virtual Option

While we hope to see as many of you in Kansas City as possible, we know this isn’t feasible for everyone. We will be offering a virtual option that will allow folks to watch all the speakers, mass, prayers, and welcoming ritual. We will be offering an individual and household rate, as well as a rate for folks who want to join with others and participate as a group. This option is perfect for motherhouses or other community households that will be unable to join us in-person. For all those who sign-up for the virtual option, we will provide the same prayers and breakout questions to those registered.

Note: If you wish to be in a breakout room for group discussions during the Event, you must register as an individual.  Only those registered as individuals will be able to access the table discussions.
