A “Third-Party Fundraiser” is one in which a third-party organization, group, or individual (called the “Organizer”) raises funds to benefit Guns ‘N Hoses and The BackStoppers.  The Organizer is responsible for all aspects of the Third-Party Fundraiser. Any Guns ‘N Hoses or The BackStoppers involvement will be discussed and agreed upon in advance. Guns ‘N Hoses and The BackStoppers have no financial responsibilities or liability regarding the fundraising event.  Guns ‘N Hoses and The BackStoppers may mention the Third-Party Fundraiser on their websites and social media platforms.  Flyers and promotional material need to be provided by the Organizer.

Approval by Guns ‘N Hoses is required BEFORE the Third-Party Fundraiser can be held or advertised. Such approval is in the sole discretion of Guns ‘N Hoses and it can be withdrawn at any time for any or no reason.

Upon approval of the Third-Party Fundraiser, Guns ‘N Hoses will provide the Organizer with the approved logos for GNH and The BackStoppers to use in all marketing/advertising for the Third-Party Fundraiser ONLY.  The Organizer cannot use the Guns ‘N Hoses or The BackStoppers name or logo for any other purpose.  The Organizer agrees to use the logos provided and that the logos will not be altered in any form. 

BEFORE DISTRIBUTION, Guns ‘N Hoses must review and approve all publicity material related to the Third-Party Fundraiser, such as flyers, invitations, press releases, merchandise, social media, and websites. No advertising should lead someone to believe that the Organizer is affiliated with Guns ‘N Hoses and the Third-Party Fundraiser does not create a partnership of any kind between the Organizer and Guns ‘N Hoses.

GNH or The BackStoppers will not provide mailing lists of donors, volunteers, sponsors, or first responder departments to promote the Third-Party Fundraiser.

The Organizer is responsible for all expenses incurred for the Third-Party Fundraiser.  An accounting of the Third-Party Fundraiser along with the proceeds must be submitted to Guns ‘N Hoses within 45 days of the conclusion of the Third-Party Fundraiser.  In the case of ongoing Third-Party Fundraiser, a schedule for submitting proceeds will be determined by Guns N Hoses and the Organizer.

The check for the proceeds should be made out to St. Louis Guns ‘N Hoses Boxing Association and mailed along with the accounting to:

The Organizer agrees to comply with all relevant local, state, and federal law and public health orders including obtaining required insurance, permits, waivers, or licenses.  The Organizer must provide written verification of any of the foregoing at the request of Guns ‘N Hoses. The Organizer agrees to sign any Releases, etc. as required by Guns ‘N Hoses.

Although all funds raised each year by Guns ‘N Hoses are donated to The BackStoppers, the two entities are separate and unrelated.

THE ORGANIZER AGREES TO INDEMNIFY, RELEASE, AND HOLD HARMLESS GUNS ‘N HOSES AND THE BACKSTOPPERS FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL LIABILITIES ARISING OUT OF THE THIRD-PARTY FUNDRAISER.

The Organizer acknowledges that it has liability insurance (if needed/required) in place to support the Third-Party Fundraiser.

By submitting the Application, the Authorized Representative of the Organizer acknowledges that he/she has read, understands, and agrees to the foregoing, and has the authority to act on behalf of and bind the Organizer.
