July 25-29, 2022
The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center
1 East Pershing Road,
Kansas City, USA, Missouri 64108

This event will initiate fraternal discernment for two key issues as we pilgrimage to one province.

Gather to discern….our mission priorities for the new province

How should we determine mission priorities in the new province?

How would you discern your role in the mission of the new province?

As a new province….

  • Who and where should we serve?
  • How would we minister to them?
  • How should we balance legacy ministries versus new ministries?

Gather to discern…fraternal leadership and governance structures

How should we call forth fraternal leadership for our new province?

How would you like to experience a new approach to fraternal leadership?

As a new province…

  • How should the new province assign friars to mission?
  • How can we support guardians in their spiritual leadership?
  • How can the new provincial administration listen to friars across the country?

For all of the above we will initiate a synodal process that will find expression at the Chapter of Union in October 2023. You are urged to attend and share your voice and vision as we journey to one province.
