Patricia Murray, a native of Ireland, is a member of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary and served as a member of the general council of her congregation. She has spent a lifetime working to create pastoral responses to global needs, including the establishment of inter-congregational communities in South Sudan and Sicily, Italy as well as developing global networks against human trafficking. She was the first executive director of Solidarity with South Sudan.

Patricia Chappell, SNDdeN has spent nearly 30 years committed to anti-racism training and dismantling white privilege, including in her ministry as executive director of Pax Christi USA. She has worked with countless religious congregations and lay groups on diversity-racism issues. Patricia served on the staff of the National Black Sisters Conference and as its president from 1996-2001. Currently, she serves in leadership for her community, the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur.
